I have recently acquired an E-PL1 with the kit lens. Although the Olympus OM has not been my main camera system for quite a long time, I still have some lenses and would like to use them on the E-PL1. Can anyone suggest a good place to get the proper adapter?

I bought the E-PL1 and plan on two adaptors.
4/3rds to micro4/3rds and then the adaptor for OM to 4/3.
Partly because I have two of the OM to 4/3 and I want the option to use standard 4/3 on the micro body as well. So, I just need the 4/3 to m4/3.
The 4/3 and m4/3 are probably the most adaptable cameras I have ever seen, with adaptations for almost every maker lens including Leica Thread Mount, Pentax TM and many others. Almost every camera manufacturer is represented using their lenses manual focus, manual aperture and auto metering.
I've been very happy with OM Zuiko mount lenses on my standard 4/3 and expect same on the micro body.
However, I am rapidly coming to the conclusion that about two of the m4/3 zooms will cover all my needs with superb image quality and full automation.
Have pretty much had my fill of the shortcomings of using legacy lenses... Manual this or that.
Only real reason and lens still worth the trouble to use is my OM 50/1.4 for bokeh/short DOF. OR...... if I turn up a fast OM 24mm. The crop factor of 2X makes the 50 a 100 and would make the 24 a 48.
The two micro zoom 4/3 lenses I would opt for in the bag are the 14-42 and the Panasonic 45-200, covering me for 28 to 400, with almost the same image quality as most of the legacy and prime lenses outside what I mentioned. Even those people using Leica lenses are muttering about how close the Olympus and Panasonic zooms are coming on image quality. None of the OM mount lenses I have used have been better than the 4/3 offerings for IQ, but have improved DOF in fast variations like 1.4, 1.8 and 2.8 apertures

. . . . . you may want to take a look at the Leica Lumix D Vario-Elmam 1:3.8 - 5.6 \14 - 50 ASPH. the quality of the photos is excellent. It is an original 4/3 lens and does require the 4/3 Lens Mount Adaptor. The other 4/3 lenses worth a look is the Leica D Summilux 25mm f/1.4. Both lenses are AF and large but the output is fantastic.
. . . . . and the m4/3 Lumix 20/1.7 is outstanding as well.

I have m43 adaptors for my GH1 for Leica M, Leica screw mount, Olympus OM, Contax G & Minolta AF. The last two are more fiddly to use when setting the aperture. I like the Oly OM one the most because of the access to the lovely zuikos, even if it does add another 4 or cm to the length of the lens. And with a zuiko 135/2.8 you get a 270/2.8 that is astoundingly small if you like that kind of focal length. Or the wonderful 50mm 1.4 or the 100 2.8 - the list goes on....
If it is all about sharpness and image quality then the purpose built lens are probably better/easier. If its about the fun of using those legacy lenses on M43 and giving them a new set of image making opportunities in a "digital future"
then that works for me.
My favourite lens over all of those I use is the Panasonic 40mm 1.7. All the advantages in one great lens - small, sharp, close focus, autofocus, lovely image quality. I'm waiting eagerly for Panasonic's wide prime...
