OM3Ti Top and Bottom Replacement

I have a OM3Ti which is in very good condition but has a couple of minor scuff marks on the top next to the film advance lever and the base by the tripod mount.

I have new top and bottom parts for the OM3Ti and would like to fit them. The bottom is easy, but the top requires a bit more effort.

Has anyone taken off the top of a OM3Ti (without damaging it) and how is it done?

Send it to John Hermanson. Don't mess around. All those tiny wires are trouble.

3Ti only has 3-4 wires to solder but you'll be taking off about 2 dozen small parts before the top will come off. Then parts have to be aligned before new top is slid on. I have replacement OM-3Ti shutters if you need any. ;-) John
