The best camera is one that still works!

Thanks.
I know people say the kit lenses are OK ... mine came with the 14-42 at only a slight increase over the cost of a body alone. I really don't like that lens though for some reason and when I spotted Sug's 25mm f1.4 Summilux for sale in the classifieds it took me about two seconds to make up my mind because that's a lens I had ear marked as perfect for me on the OMD. It certainly didn't disappoint me ... sharp wide open and no apparent distortion or fall off ... there's a lot to be said for having the correct lens for the sensor size. A good fast 35mm equivalent and I'll be really happy.

Nice work Gil. The second shot hard to meter? Reminds me of metering brides and wedding dresses.

Thanks, yes it's always difficult to meter this kind of shot. The AEL of OMD is very handy, it keeps locked until you press the button again.

The wind up... and the kick! Snagged this great action shot of my 16 month old daughter kicking her soccer ball around tonight.
Olympus E-M5, Panny 20mm, Grainy B&W II art filter with frame effect.... straight out of the camera.
On a side note, does anyone know if it is possible to use the frame effect without applying any other art filters? I'd like to do a standard B&W shot with the frame, but it seems to be forcing me to use another filter like Grainy B&W, Pin Hole, etc...
