OMD-EM5 Pics

Playing with a plastic toy lens and slow shutter speeds on the OM-D. One shot in the sequence turned out sharper than intended. :D

EM-5 with Panny 12-35mm f2.8

The E-M5 is a very nice camera; put a really good lens on it, and it is better than "very nice". I love my E-M5; I love my Bessa R, my Leica IIIb, my Hasselblad 500CM. I've loved my OM-1 for over 30 years.

I use different cameras for different intents, to be sure, but it's also sometimes a matter of which machine I feel an itch to work with. But comparing the E-M5 to any old point and shoot is simply grumpy -- as if someone forgot their Preparation H.

An E-M5 image that may not meet the PS test (or is that BS test?) but which is sharp and has good tonality. It's quite a capable machine, and m4/3 has matured into a quite capable system.

Eager for the Oly 17mm f1.8's arrival, because the OM-D is really growing on me as a take everywhere camera. I USED to take my D800 & 35mm f1.4G everywhere with me, and DOF aside I don't miss it. I'm really starting to hate on DSLRs now, their weight is just unreasonable.
