Thank for sharing. Not that spectacular to be honest and once again I see colors from a digital M that straight suck. (Since when comes the Leica dot in magenta?)

Not trying to spoil the fun for you, but not my cup of photography... 😛

They are red on mine too. 😕 Perhaps you should get your monitor calibrated? Also, since you clearly missed it, here's what the OP said in his photo post:
Ok, here are a few sample shots. These were NOT intended to be artistic in any way, so if you don't like how the shot was framed, sorry....just trying to get samples for folks to see.
So there's no need to comment unnecessarily.

It's a feature not a bug.

Since the lens is obviously flawed, I'll volunteer to take it at no charge so that it doesn't end up in landfill somewhere. Actually, I'd extend that offer to the M9 as well (can't be too sure which one is defective, so best to be on the safe side). I'll even pay for shipping to me for both items.

We could make it an international treasure hunt, and produce a reality show- Find the Leica!

Back on post. I can't wait to see your other results. This lens has such charisma around it from the film days, and it appears to remain a special lens in digital.

I've been using a Nocti 0.95 on the M9 for about two months now. It's a great combination. Here's a few of my small-sized samples:

I've also had this lense a while. It is an incredible piece of kit - so accomplished and built like a brick sh!thouse. However, if is presently in London (I'm in Israel) while the f1.0 is in my bag. Why? Because as accomplished as it is, it is one of the most unforgiving lenses I've ever used. Long throw, minute dof: a micron off and the image looks TERRIBLE, unlike the f1.0 that gets a dreamy quality even if you're not 100% perfect with the focus.

However, that said: if you do get it right, it's astonishing...

As to the red 'issue': there is no profile out there that sorts out the red to magenta shift. In lightroom it's a bit better, in Aperture it's a complete pain. Twiddling the settings help, but I still can't get it right...
