i'll go home today and the notice of attempted delivery wil be there.
i'll check the back of the card to see when it can be picked up, hoping that it will be available today but more than likely it will say tomorrow after 1 p.m..
tomorrow, i'll want to leave work early.

i'm taking next week off but that's mostly to paint my place. i may have to sneak off for some black bodied shooting though!!

it's here!! in my hands!!

the delivery card said i could pick it up after 5 today...so of course i was there at 4:30 and it was all ready and waiting for me.

i have to first report what a dope i am. in all the excitiment when handling the new body it seemd smaller and lighter than the chrome one. i figured that could not be but i have spent enough time with the silver zi to know it's feel. i could not figure out why this one felt so different...till i realized the silver one has the m-grip on it. doh!!

i kinda like the feel without a grip but experience tells me i can hold onto the camera much longer with a grip.

anyway, it's gorgeous, looks great with both black and silver lenses on it,
focus seems to be dead on, up close and at infinity.

too bad i have a meeting at 7 tonight...:bang:

I'm betting wholly new. Congrats, Joe! Now, on to the film/developer/dilution/agitation races. Should keep you occupied for awhile ... at least until the next election.

i think my avatar will remain the same for awhile but my sig pic wil change.
i'm thinking of just adding the black body to the mix and keep the 'look' of the current pic.

3 is excessive, i have found.

i am totally pleased with my kit at this moment, 2 bodies and 5 lenses that i like, seems perfect.

Don't you mean walked home? In -40 C weather? Uphill both ways with nary moon nor street light in sight?
