Alright, let's play a GAS game. You've got an unlimited budget, but the kicker is this: you can only shoot with this system (and your body/lens choices) for the rest of your life. No digital, no medium/large format.

What do you pick?

Contax IIa, 21/4.5 Biogon Opton, 35/2.8 Biogon Opton and 85/2 Sonnar Jena.
This is an outfit I already own. If I had a chance to try post-war 85/2 Sonnar , then I might want to use it instead of Jena, but, for now, this is the outfit I can live with beautifully.

Contax IIa is a fantastic camera. The only drawback is squinty viewfinder, but with 21, 35 and 85, I use external viewfinders anyway. Definitely worth a try.

I really couldn't do that. I have many lenses for a reason. Some always got more use than others, but they were all in the arsenal for a reason, and all got used.

But if I had to, I would cry for my Fujica ST901 and fixed lenses from 18mm to 300mm.

But for lens coverage, I would probably go for my Contax 167mt, with my C/Y mount zooms from 18mm to 150mm. (EDIT: That is an 18mm-28mm, 28mm-70mm, and 75mm - 150mm)

I would cheat and not tell anybody I also had a 2x tele-converter and my Contax 50mm f/1.4. 😀
