One more lens?
Should I buy one more lens for my iii? Current lenses I have :
Collapsable Summicron 50/2
Summaron 35/3.5
Canon 50/1.2 (mainly use it during the night, not sure why I bought it.)
Should I buy a 28mm/21mm lens? Currently looking at the Voigtlander 21/4 Color Skopar LTM. Thanks

Ha! I'm not sure tho, 21mm or 28mm? Currently looking at the Voigtlander 21/4 Color Skopar. Quite a lot of people suggested the 21mm over the 28mm on other existing forums. I already have a 35mm, which is kinda similar to a 28mm. So I might go for a 21mm

Are you sure you don't want to get the final lens in the Leica Holy Trinity and buy a 90?
The 28 would be too close to the 35 for my tastes, but everyone has a different idea about those two lenses. The 21 LTM Color Skopar is small and sharp and a great lens for an LTM camera. If the choice is 28 or 21, given what you already have, I'd go with the 21.

Why not invest in loads of film first? So far you've shot 3 rolls of film in the Leica and roll nr.3 was no success. Getting the hang of shooting the Leica will get you better images than any new lens will.
It's not in the gear, it's what you do with it. It's what you can see.
Larry Towell is a Magnum photographer who loved shooting Pentax Spotmatics and the simple 28mm 3.5 Takumar. Cost for a kit like that under USD 100 nowadays. Follow the link to see what he got with that kit.

Split the difference and find a Snapshot-Skopar.

Nice suggestions
thanks~
Some wise words there, might just get rid of the canon and get the 21mm then I'm done.

If you can't decide between 21 and 28 then get 25. Nikkor or Canon.

Suggest not buying another lens until your iii is working properly.

Ha, it is working properly tbh, I'm sure I just messed something up.
I wanna get a 21mm, since Hong Kong is quite a dense space with lots of details. Gonna have a look at the 25 as well

What are you planning to photograph with it? Does it need a 21mm or a 28mm?

OT, get the 21mm if you plan to use it in densely populated area. It is , however, harder to compose interesting photos. You have to get really close to do street.
