Leica LTM One more lens?

Leica M39 screw mount bodies/lenses
You can zone focus with a 35mm lens too. It looks like you have one of those. Shoot with what you have first before you go spending more money.

Ha! I didn't think I posted the reasons here, so heres why I prefer SM's over M's

1. Look (well, both equal)
2. Shutter sound
3. SM lenses, like I mean, they were made for SM bodies.
4. No frame-lines, you see whay you get
5. More vintage

Ha, it is working properly tbh, I'm sure I just messed something up.

I wanna get a 21mm, since Hong Kong is quite a dense space with lots of details. Gonna have a look at the 25 as well :) Thanks for your suggestion

Hi,

You need a 90 or 135mm for detail...

Yep, tried it. I still think I need a wider lens. Will think more about it.

A wider lens doesn't always make it easier as your depth of field decreases when you get closer. If you're not going to get closer with a wide lens, then you need to really think why you want to go wide.

I'm one of those that suggested you look into a moderate telephoto lens of 75 to 90 mm. Shooting a 21 mm lens is a lot more difficult than you expect. Unless you are photographing large objects such as ships docked in harbor, you need to move very close to a subject with a 21mm lens. Otherwise your subject appears tiny, surrounded by a large field.

If zone focus is a problem then practice. Use any of your cameras without film. Set your focus ring at say 2m then walk around your house. When you think you're the right distance from an object use your rangefinder or focus screen to verify if you guessed correctly.
