Great photos! I like one before last in a series. Your girls are such "the little super-models"!
Thanks.
They are very relaxed, and photos come out looking natural and unstaged. Sometimes, I pick the location and the way they are facing the sun.

I found the TeleRollei too awkward and heavy to enjoy..![]()
Use a light tripod with it if the camera is too heavy. It's really not that heavy.

Thank you.
The door was close to the beach too.

Tele-Rolleiflex is built on the same platform as the 2.8F, it is tight for portrait shot as there is limited focus travel for the Sonnar 135/4 lenses. Using a rolleinar 0.35, which is specifically built for Tele-Rolleiflex, helps to shoot tight portrait shot.

They also made a Rollei Wide with a 55mm Zeiss lens back in the sixties.

Could be worse. Try a Hasselblad with the 150mm Sonnar! I have one and it is a b---h to handhold.
Raid,
Your photos are gorgeous, and having such cute kids doesn't hurt. I've been doing a bunch of photos of my son lately, but in 35mm. Seeing your Rollei shots makes me think of doing some portraits with my Hassy and the 150.

Thank you, Chris.
There was a time when all I wanted was to have three TLR cameras for a complete set to take on trips: Wide Rollei, any 2.8 model, Tele Rollei. I need to get a Wide Rollei one day.

Thank you, Chris. Use your Hasselblad to capture the finer details of your Son in portraits.

I have two of these cameras -- they are
fantastic for portraiture. If you actually
hold one in your hand, you'll find that F+H
anticipated the changed center of gravity
caused by the longer lens standards --
they lengthened the back release tab and
sculpted it so you can balance the camera
on your index finger when you shoot it
handheld. The redesign is ingenious and
makes handholding the camera a breeze.
Here are some portraits I shot handheld
with the Tele:

Tele-Rolleiflex is built on the same platform as the 2.8F, it is tight for portrait shot as there is limited focus travel for the Sonnar 135/4 lenses. Using a rolleinar 0.35, which is specifically built for Tele-Rolleiflex, helps to shoot tight portrait shot.
And you can get even closer by mounting a
stock Bay III Rolleinar 1 on top of that 0.35
Tele Rolleinar, for shots like this (handheld):

These are brilliant cameras if you can find one.

Sanders,
I have never used Rolleinars with my Tele, so maybe I will give it a try since your posted images look good.

With this series of photos they surely must be way up there as the best photos of Dana and Lina, if not I must have missed the best. These are sensational, I have the 3.5F with the 75 mm lens and I probably wouldn't go for a Tele-Rollei but I would like some Ziess glass in the 135 x 35mm format. Thanks for sharing these they are so good.
I agree completely w/ Tony. This is some of the best work of yours I've seen, Raid. Wonderful!

Thank you, Steve. Considering how many photos I have posted of my children, such a comment really is encouraging. I guess, when you use a gorgeous camera such as the Tele Rolleiflex, you just take more care in how to use the camera for better images.

Just for the sake of completeness: Tele and Wide Rolleiflexes are E-models with EVS and un-coupled exposure meter (if fittet) not F models, which couple the exposure meter to the shutter and aperture dials.
