One week till Nikon Rangefinder Month!

There is plenty of good content on RFF. Camera/lens specific threads aren't part of that. No reason to bolt.

I suppose you are entitled to your opinion (as everyone else here). Although I don't participate on this, IMHO, its rude to call silly and underrate things or content that some people obviously think are interesting/important.

Like I said, everyone is entitled to their opinion but that doesn't mean one can be rude, even more if nothing constructive comes out of it.

For me, I think its fun. Don't really participate on that because I don't really got a Nikon RF (don't really expect to get one in the future either) but it is a nice output for people that enjoy using this kind of equipment.

Just my opinion though.

I expect great things from you Nikon RF's guys 🙂

I will be peeking in on Nikon rangefinder month, I hope it generates tons.

I can't wait for a Leica M2 specific month, so I can show my stuff.
Wait, isn't it Leica, all-day, every-day here?
Yes!

These camera/lens specific threads are silly.

Eh, maybe. One could use a little silliness these days.

I believe it was started by TomA as a respite from the 24/7/365 Leica talk, and because he also liked his Nikon gear almost as much as his Leicas.

Folks have a diversity of interests. Using gear (not just talking about it) is part of it, as pointed out by in one of the posts above. Look forward to March 2018 silliness.

Here's one from last weekend where I finished up a roll on my S2 w/ W-Nikkor.C 3.5/1.8. It did have some help from Leitz - used a SBLOO.

First attempt at this year's March Nikon RF celebration. This was with help from an Exakta though. 13.5cm f3.5 QC Nikkor, Exakta mount on a Varex camera with TMax 100. Kind of a strange example to start with, but this is the very common Nikkor 13.5cm RF lens which Nikon adapted, in rare instances, to the Exakta mount.

The lens looks just about identical to the S-mount Nikkor 13.5, except for the mount of course, and it lacks a tripod foot.
