Atget is a personal favorite of mine, along wiith others who have documented their time/ places from a fairly ordinary perspective.
Most of those images are new to me!

Here are links to two early local (Seattle area) photographers' work. They were Darius Kinsey and Lee Pickett. While their intentions weren't the same as Atget's, the results many decades on are quite similar, and for me especially tangible- these places are ones I haunt.
