Hi, i find this camera quite beautiful and minimalistic. Couldn`t resist buying one at a nice price.

Anybody knows anything about it`s picture taking quality?

Thanks!

The more pertinent question would be, what is its build-quality?

It is an automatic-exposure camera which relies on a large selenium cell surrounding its lens. Like other cameras with the same AE system (almost all from the 1960s), the selenium cell and/or its circuit would either be dead or unreliable now. With the circuit dead, you'll be left with just a single 1/30 speed.

An unreliable cell or meter circuit on the other hand will never set the exposures right.

It is beautiful. I've read reviews about the lens being sharp, and also having noticeable barrel distortion in the side / corners, which may or not be important.

It's true that if the cell is dead you have a non-working camera. However, I have several old cameras with selenium cells that work perfectly (an early Canonet, almost contemporary of the Z-10, among those).

This one has program exposure. Open the back of the camera; if exposure / aperture changes when pointing to a light source and to a dark subject, then there is a good chance that the camera works - do a test film and you'll know for sure.

Let us know the results. I'm eyeing a Zorki-11 (same camera without the RF) offered locally....

Well, i must say my sixtomat did a great job with my iii-f, exposure readings match ok my m6 ones. I sold my US$ 200.-VC meter II because i used more frequently the US$ 30 sixtomat.

Julio, apenas llegue (un mes más) te comento qué tal anduvo, el vendedor me dijo que funciona bien, gracias.
