youxin may do it cheaper... but this finder has so many problems (there's another lens decementing, framelines mask has cracks of some sort, RF patch is weak and finder is pretty dim in general) that I'd be willing to pay more for a finder overhaul. maybe someday...

maybe I'll try one with heat and one with sun... more research maybe. Once midterms are over...
 
well I took the RF apart and everything was good until I put water on the prism surfaces and stuck them together to see how the gluing would work... and I left the water on and it dissolved 40% of the silvering.


so I guess I'll be commencing my 49 days of mourning.
