Can you comment on how it scans compared to Tri-X?

I have done a fair bit of Arista Premium and Tri X together. If you go to Flickr and tag "Arista Premium 400" and "Tri X" - there should be plenty of samples how it scans.
I cant see any difference between them, respond to light the same way, processes the same way and, to my eyes. the negs look the same. Bear in mind that I shoot mainly "sunny f16" and there are are variables coming into play here. I still have about 600 ft of Arista left (and 2000ft of Tri X) so I will continue shooting them as if they are the same.

astroman, don't get me wrong, there really aren't any better options for Canadians. It's just a shame that are dollar has sunk so low recently.
