I would try one of Zhou's half cases, unless you really want a full. I think they are about $50 or so.

You can have a new leather Luigi case for the same price, including matching strap. I have one in green leather. I'm planning to recover the camera in something green from Camera Leather next.

Luigi's cases, lovely as they are, are around $250 - for the half, not the full, case.

the rd1s that i bought comes with a mint original full case.
i will probably list it, along with the epson leather strap, in the classifieds as soon as it arrives as i rarely use a case.

i have a luigi wrist strap ready to attach to the camera.

the case for the new rd1x is advertised at the epson site for about 132. american. i assume it's a fit for the older models as well.

i doubt i'll keep it as i never use a full case and rarely use the half cases i have now.

I guess megaperls actually sells them at that BIN price (?) but occasionally they put one up in a real auction (I keep missing them🙂) and they go for between $60-80.

Yeah, curious Joe to see whether you'll dive into one of those Cameraleather kits. I still can't decide what color I want.

red is good for girls too, the skin just needs to complement the black body parts and i think red and black are a great combo.
