Thanks, Raid. I've made an offer to be passed on to the seller, so we shall see. I suspect the larger finder of the II would make it an all round more usable camera, but I'm a slave to the aesthetics of these classics, and I find the proportions and symmetry of the earlier type to more pleasing to my eye. And as a bonus the older ones are more affordable, too.

I may have paid $150 or less for a Prominent with two lenses. The camera needed a $50 overhaul as the shutter was stuck.
That's not a bad price these days as the lenses are ever more sought after for use with adapters on various digital bodies. For some reason I seem to really enjoy working on Voigtlanders. They had a tendency to design unusual mechanisms, undoubtedly, but the more interesting ones were often well made from decent materials. I don't usually worry about parts breaking or being badly worn, most of the ones I have repaired needed little more than cleaning, adjustment and lubrication to work really well again. So although a Prominent would have its own challenges I'd be very happy to acquire one at the right price and attend to its needs with some confidence of success, and would probably enjoy the challenge of fixing it anyway.I may have paid $150 or less for a Prominent with two lenses. I bought the set many years ago when prices were lower. The lenses for the Prominent had a reputation for being excellent lenses.

Nothing at all wrong with these images Raid. Your girls have grown a bit since then! Rick Drawbridge has made some stunningly sharp images with various Prominent lenses in the past couple of years. Together with the quality of finish and appearance of them it tipped me over the edge of wanting one—it's near the top of my list of remaining cameras I would like to own, now. Thanks for starting this thread.
