Now that I have my book on the Tenax II out, I wanted to share information on its rare wide-angle lens, the 27mm f4.5 Orthometar.
I have an entry on my blog at:

Enjoy. WES

Interesting blog. I was not really aware of the Tenax II, but I'll check it out. I once owned and used a copy of the 3.5cm F4.5 Orthometar in Contax rangefinder mount and it was fabulous, especially for an uncoated lens.

I have posted to the gallery several pictures taken with the Tenax II including several taken with the 2.7cm Orthometar wide angle. Resolution is good and distortion is minimal, but contrast is low and it has a pre-war blue-cast related to the lack of coatings.
