Hi folks--just acquired a very old Leica Pradovit f projector. It seems to work well and I would really like to get a repair manual for it--in case it needs maintenance. Seems to be plenty of instruction books available--but a source for the repair book would be greatly appreciated!
Thanks!!

I did not see a repair manual but Craig Cameras has the user manual:

http://www.craigcamera.com/ib_l.htm

Scroll about two-thirds down from the top.

I have one of those too. Had it for 20 years or so and it's never needed any maintenance apart from routine dusting.

And it's dead obvious how to use it.

If, one day, it needs a new bulb I guess I'll have to look around for somebody who still has those big old boy bulbs.

Thanks for the tip George! I'll take a look.
And Jon--hmmmm. Maybe "dead obvious" to you but--what are the 2 buttons on top for? And is there a way to leave the fan on after the bulb shuts down? Is that a temperature thing, or---???
Thanks!
Paul

Paul,

I picked up the repair microfiche for what I believe to be the original Pradovit, Pradolux 24 and Pradix slide projectors.

I have the Pradix which covers just 3 pages of this microfiche. It's over 100 pages of exploded view assemblies and some wiring diagrams mainly on the Pradovit.

If you are interested, please email me. My local library has a microfiche reader and its 10 cents a page to laser print.

All the best,
Ricardo
