Isn't it coffee time ?
Read a tread here about travel photography some time ago , thought about selling some gear because i didn´t use it enough, and less to pack should normally mean not more than 5 minutes about "what to bring . ."
So i put the Contax G2 kit for sale in a online-forum in Norway.
And so it started, "hmm , someone is selling used Nikon F3, only one user, no use of motor either, can´t do any harm to write a innocent email and just ask some questions .. Yesterday the package arrived, and some days before that my 50mm Nikkor H.
Thats the third Nikon F3 I´v bought just by "accident", first a F3P and then a F3/T, and now a plain F3 with dp-2 finder ..
How hard can it be to not mix the meanings of sell and buy ?
Had a walkabout today so the test-prints would be done Wednesday.
To morrow I´ll do some test-shots with my friend GSN 35 he bought while he was looking for a Yashica Electro 35 GX, and he hasn´t even heard about rangefinderforum . ..
Go figure.

Gotta catch the light.
Vha,
I read you thread and thought I wrote it. In fact your camera looks remarkably similar to the one I just bought from flipflop. It's my first F3, in my defence. I sort of have a reasonable justification for each camera purchase. The F3 lets me use about 3 non AI lenses that my father in law had, with more modern metering than the Nikkormat that they were used for. I've got an FM2n that I really like, but there are times when I just want to point and shoot with nikon glass so I picked up an EM (waiting in the mail). I'd been really thinking about an F3 and it just came up, and it was close to my birthday... so. This justification for purchases must *really* be similar to alcoholism...

Luckily they are those who have a justification . . . .
2 months ago I traded the last Nikon item, my tokina ATX something, nice but heavy, (gave good photos), since i didn´t had any Nikon Slr and at that moment, and totally convinced that "I´m done with slr, rangefinder makes more sense, goodbye mirror slapping sound." Then I start planning a new portfolio for the web, realized that old nikkor glass can give nice images.
So the moral of the moral of the story is not to sell anything you might need, because when you replace it one or two other items often follows, but everyone needs a RF too.
Still waiting for the mail about a 24mm and a 105 nikkor P. .
