The other nice thing about the 28mm ais mf lens is that it focusses extremely close as well as having a rep for being very sharp. Just to add fuel to the fire, the F90X is a good prosumer body that works well with both mf and af lenses.

thanks for the link, interesting ! Stunning to see how easy I could get outta the dilemma with the 1.8/50 AF-D !
The older I get the less stuff I want to have with me, as the most of us I suppose.

I have an old 21-35mm Sigma AF that I use when I want to be lazy and only carry one lens.
