After my wander through the Australian Centre for the Moving Image today I found a 'artisty' bookstore with good selection photography books. On my way out I spied a cabinet full of Lomo products for sale, including several Lomo LCAs.
So I got one of the sales clerks to get one out of the cabinet and I got a play with it and thought it was rather spiffing little monster. So I was keen until I turned the box over and saw the price: $340.00 AUS.
I'm sure the words "Bugger That!" could be heard a few blocks away.
Now $34.00, yes, even at $70.00 I would have been keen. Perhaps that Holga I'm going to have a look at tomorrow is going to be $200.00, who knows...
I seem to remember that the Minox M3 Digital was cheaper than that.
