from all the photos that you have ever taken, with a rf or not, what SINGLE PHOTO would you choose to display if you had space for just one displayed print, one photo and one frame. be specific.

this would be the photo that you would take to the grave if permitted, the photo that, if you were never gonna get to look at anything else, you would look at this knowingly...forever.

i like this shot for a number of reasons...it's a favourite place, it leaves me with a good feeling when i look at it, the area is normally crawling with people but at 7am or so it's deserted, which i also like.

Out of thousands of fotos I've taken there is one where everything came together. I took it w/ a Mamiya 220 and 65mm lens - B&W film - 10+ years ago. It was a sweltering day in the L.A. suburbs and most of my family were in the pool. I asked the neices/nephews to join my mom out front where there was open shade. I did not seek to direct nor position any of them, only asking them to stand around my mom. I took 2 shots and 1 came out fabulous. I enlarged it to 20x24.

How about... editing is difficult; editing down to a single life-defining image is even more difficult. 🙂

Well i really do hope to take more than one decent photo to the grave 🙂
Many years ago (1970's) while wandering around with my Mums old Box Brownie, in 620, wondering if the silly thing would even take a photo i saw an old couple .. maybe in their 80s standing at pedestrian crossing waiting for the signal to cross.
No big deal so far until i notice that they were holding hands and seemed completely oblivious to the surrounding world. So i did what any photographer would do and had a Kodak moment. I have no idea were that photo is now even worse i have no idea were the negative might be.
I can still see the photo very clearly in my mind & I remember the soft noise of the shutter when i took the photo. I hoped they wouldn't hear it and look around because i also felt like i had invaded their privacy.
All in 1/60 of a second

This photo is my favorite from my first assignment for my college yearbook when I first got into photography. I didn't like it when I first saw it on the negative and thus it did not get printed. I only saw it when I was going over my work for that year.
