Those are some strange zoning/planning decisions made by someone. Are all the buildings about the same age?

Well, I can only speak of the most recent eight years. That's how long I've been in TX; they were there when I got here. But, I agree on the zoning...strange indeed. In my neighborhood, we recently 'won' a grassroots campaign to keep big-box developments out, only to have a hospital with trauma treatment capabilities constructed and soon to open. No good deed goes unpunished?
