No offense Gerry, but this has got to be the strangest-looking camera I've ever seen. The ergonomics seems to be for frogs.![]()
Hold one in your hand and you'll realize how well designed the old Olympus prosumers were. I had a C-8080WZ and it was great. f/2.4 at the wide end.
There's a lot more to it than just resolution, especially when the light gets scarce.
Yeah, the old C-8080 maxed out at 400 ISO. I was so jealous of my friends who could shoot at 1600. Also, the AF was slower than molasses.

Add to that lot the Leica mini or Minolta Riva mini, Konica A4, Pentax 928M, Nikon 90s Zoom and the Rollei/Sumsung P&S's.
For a small digital P&S the Olympus mju-400 takes a lot of beating and dirt cheap these days. I just hope that, one day, my wife will let me have it back...

Hey Charles, I've got one of those. Well, it's not the D, but it's an FF*90. It's got a really terrible electronic fault, so I wasn't able to run any film through it. What was the "D" improvement? And does yours have an open slot on the bottom?

Oly 7070W; An oldie but a goodie. Magnesium shell and a very good lens, ~28-100.
I like this one. Very hi-tech looking, and it has a viewfinder.

...and how about some Live Action Porn?
Konica "Kanpa!"

Kanpa! = "bottoms up" in Japanese (which is actually borrowed from Chinese).
Billed as " Super Full Auto Party Camera" with "Voice Release"
--it has a voice sensor that will activate the shutter release.
Yes that means when you shout "Kanpa!" loud enough (when the LED indicator reaches Red), the camera will turn to you and click!
that super-cute sneakers on the compact tripod comes with the camera.
and Yes i have to shout to show the LED indicator when taking this picture.
(but No i didn't try shouting anything foul)
