Which paint and primer for camera repainting? I want to paint a few I have.

It depends if you are touching up or re-painting. The alkyd based automotive paints can be quite good but do need to be "baked" to achieve any reasonable form of "hardness". The good quality fine pigment enamels using for moddelling are also OK. The stuff generally sold in hardware stires id too think and not tough enough.

It's OK for home paint jobs but don't expect it to be everlasting.
About the best you can do at home is to use an etching primer and then a high quality "brushing" enamel but it is a skilled job to get a good finish this way.

You can have carpaint in small spraybottle with hardener premix but you must use it in some hour or store in a cold place. you can buy it from automobile pant shop.That will be hard and long lasting.
