So, I only have T-max and Microphen developer at the moment. Going by the MDC I can do Pan F plus shot at 80 ISO with a 1+9 dilution for 6 minutes at 24 degrees (using t-max). Using the temperature conversion chart as a reference I can develop it at 20 degrees for 8 minutes 30 seconds. Which is all fine and dandy, cept I shot the film at box speed. Long story short, how much would you shorten development time based on the ISO difference? 30 seconds? A minute?

Thanks in advance,

db

I read somewhere that for each stop difference, once should change the developing time by 25-30%. So, in your case, it might be 4 1/2- 5 minutes, instead of 6. It is a "guesstimate", of course. YMMV

Hi db,
I look forward to hearing (and seeing ?) what you discover. I have quite a bit of Pan F, as well as T-Max developer, and will, no doubt, benefit from your test.
