Also I use the high contrast and sharpness option for the in-camera jpeg. Hope that helps! The camera seems fine to me.

I paid $315 for the camera, here at RFF. Thank you, Bill. It came with 3 batteries and a charger. There is also a nice lens hood with lens cap and protector filter included. The camera has sensitivity ISO 100-200-400. This is it. It is back to basics.
You're welcome, Raid. I see you have improved your shooting technique already with the LC1. I had problems at first shooting indoors. I didn't care for the flash, so most all pics were done outside with plenty of good light. The colors are amazing straight out of the camera, imo.
Enjoy and keep sharing pics as you get to know the LC1 more.

We just returned from a drive along our beaches.

I am getting used to this camera. here, I used F 4.0 to avoid the dust smear, and the images are sharp. The colors are more saturated than what I get with the M9 or M8.

The camera and lens form a light set, and it is perfect for my travel needs. It needs some care as indoor shots will not work with this camera.

There is a size/quality option in the menu. Are you asking for the best quality jpeg?
I have started to save the RAW files into jpg files. They are about 2.8-3.1 MB files now.

Hi Lynn,
I like what this camera can produce. Its main challenge is fast moving subjects in dim light.
Thanks.

I used the LC1 yesterday to try out ISO 400 and also some ISO 100 again. The AF works very well, which helps a lot in dim light. I did not do any adjustments to the jpg (converted) files.

I then tried taking some photos at the restaurant last evening. It was quite dim, and it was a challenge to get images that were acceptable, but they are fine for family snapshots. Even with ISO 400, with a 2.4 max aperture at 90mm FOV, it was too slow of shutter speeds.
