The Pope sagely observed today that atheists are responsible for some of the greatest cruelties and worse injustices in the world. Am I the only one or is this like the Knicks telling the Celtics about baseball? No offense to the believer, unbeliever or even the Knicks.

ROTFL!

ABC also reports:
"A world marked by so much injustice, innocent suffering and cynicism of power cannot be the work of a good God," he wrote. But he said the idea that man can do what God cannot by creating a new salvation on Earth was "both presumptuous and intrinsically false."

What's theology without a bit of contradiction.

The latest encyclical was described on the BBC as 'closely reasoned'.

Then again, all reason depends on the validity of the premises.

Incidentally, on a closely related topic, I always thought it was Celtic and Rangers.

Cheers,

R.

That, sir, is, as we say in Arkansas, heathernism. That's tantamount to the Yankees/Cowboys. Or beer/Guinness. Again, no offense.

“Guns have little or nothing to do with juvenile violence. The causes of youth violence are working parents who put their kids into daycare, the teaching of evolution in the schools, and working mothers who take birth control pills.” Tom DeLay, on causes of the Columbine High School massacre, 1999

Besides the fact that his holiness probably owns an m6 and a noctilux, what does this have to do with photography?
