Paris loves film cameras...

Well, my wife and I spent a week in Paris in June. First trip. Great weather. Got lots of nice photos including some street shots. Walked most places or used the Metro or Batobus. Some people noticed my cameras (Voigtlander Bessa R3a and R4a) but nobody commented. We had been told Paris was dirty and Parisians were rude. We found Paris to be at least as clean, if not cleaner than Sydney, and we found everyone we encountered pleasant and helpful. I think it must have something to do with how you approach people.

Hey RFFers

Have any of you gone to La Maison du Leica (55, Bd.Beaumarchais) ?

You should if you shoot Leica, it is a regular shrine with a check from HCB framed on the wall.

And chill out with this French bashing. Travel around the USA and you get a taste of a lot of unpleasant folks and a bunch of decent people. People are pretty much the same all over.
