Paypal Payment

Can sombody tell me how long it takes to recieve a paypal payment in ones account.Once its sent does it take a few minutes or 24 Hrs or? Thanks

Usually a couple of hours it seems. Occasionally I get trapped with an 'echeck' which means at least 5 days of waiting. I never know why the 'echeck' happens instead of a regular payment.
