Hey all, just wondering if it is harmful to the camera or flash if you leave the pc cord in the camera for a few hours. Reason I ask, I use a lot of flash indoors and frankly do not want to constantly insert and remove the pc sync cord to the camera while I shoot. Any input is appreciated!

I've had one plugged in to an Olympus 35-S for years...I just leave it there...I also have it wire-tied to the (camera strap) ring and wrapped around the narrow part of the strap...
The Olympus Sync-Plug is located on the bottom of the lens so it's out of the way...just be careful if it could get knocked around...
BTW that's the only camera I have done this to...

I do have a Nikon FE with the Data Back and that plugs into the Flash Sync...

Can't see how it could harm any camera. I've left 'em in all day and overnight, and not worried about it. I mean, why would you UNplug it?

Cheers,

R.
