I use Peak Imaging - I'm sure most of us in the UK know who they are - for my occasional colour 120 efforts, and I get them printed to 12x8", so it's not cheap.
I got a film back on Wednesday, and discovered that somehow one neg had been printed twice, and one not at all. I contacted Peak and got a personal email (no corporate drivel) back from their General Manager apologising. He told me to send the neg back freepost and he'd ensure a quick turnaround. He wasn't wrong - it arrived this morning, correctly printed and at no cost to me.
I've used Peak for probably ten years, this is the first problem I've had with them (I've cocked up far more of my own films than they ever have!), and I was very impressed with the service I got to sort it out.
I have no connection other than as a customer, I just thought that they deserved a plaudit.
