First DIY C41 processing and first roll of the new Portra 400. This Pentax 6x7 is nice :)

Beautiful ... and the colours from the new Portra are enough to make a shooter weep!

WOW. I've always been intimidated by the beastly appearance of the 67, afraid I would achieve chronic low back pain from hauling it around.

These pics just attest to its prowess, and the reason it is still being used by so many. This is the type of camera I would use for night photography in sketchy neighborhoods, since its size and weight will double as a weapon to use in self-defense in case of any danger!

Both of these were shot handheld with a Pentax 67ii and the 105mm f/2.4 on Kodak Ektar 100 (gotta love that film in medium format). Processed and scanned by Precision, super happy with their work!

thanks :) i've found the 6x7 to be surprisingly good for snapshots like this, as it should be given it's essentially just an (MASSIVE) SLR. but it's the size that makes it seem so unwieldly untile you actually pick one up and use it.
