Looks pretty muddy around that winter barbie, LeicaM3!
I twiddled it a bit to move the white point down to match the top of the data (shoved the 255 pointer down to 160) and here's the result scaled down... Of course it's your image, so I will remove this at your request, just let me know.![]()
Oh, thank you.
Just scanned w/o changes. Thanks for teaching.
I develop for printing, not scanning, and I am always amazed how much gets lost with scanning (especially if I do it). This seems to be more true for Rodinal vs. e.g. Diafine.

Really nice shot, really conveys a feeling of being alone.
Wonderful subject separation and 3D feel from a lens this wide. The colors look good too, I would like to see what it would do on a less overcast day.
thanks! I love wide lenses on MF, with separated main subject photos look so natural.

Great shot. The Palace of Culture and Science is quite an edifice but was a really mixed "gift".

How would you compare the Pentax 67 with a Fuji 69 RF? Limited choices of lenses?

Fuji:
-only 90 or 65
-bigger 2x3 negative
-lighter
-sync speed is 1/500th
-crappy viewfinder in my opinion
Pentax:
-large array of lenses from 35 to 1000, including lenses with shift and shallow apertures and fisheye etc.
-heavier, especially with the metered prism
-only 1/30th sync speed except with two lenses
-other accessories like wood grip, waist level viewfinder, etc.
You can take nice photos with either of them.

Raid, there are lots of 6/7 shots here obviously. Here's a Fuji BL G690 with the 100 mm lens. It's a totally different feel to the Pentax obviously since it's a RF and not a SLR. Each has merits. The Fuji glass is excellent. The price difference is however meaningful. The Fuji basically has three lenses that are seen regularly the 65mm, 100mm, 180mm. There is also a 50mm and 150mm. These are few in number and accordingly pricey. The Pentax 67 is less costly to acquire the basic kit of camera, and 90mm lens. Good luck with which ever direction you choose.

IMO, the 6x7 format is much preferable. Not only for economy (I can't believe I'm saying this about a camera that gets "only" ten shots per roll), but, in general, for the way I see things. May be different for you but, having a couple 6x9 folders which I don't use, I wouldn't gravitate towards the format.

Ok here is my first roll since taking the 6X7 out of retirement. This is a photo of the smog that has over time come into Phoenix Arizona. This is south of the City about 20 miles.
I used a 150mm F2.8 lens and Fuji Pro 160 film. Since this roll I've gained a 90mm and 55mm lenses plus one of those cool wooden handles. I have Delta 400 loaded now.
I can only get better from here!!!
