Pentax 67 Gas!

Really grate shots here, despite it's quirks and limitations the P67 is one legendary camera system IMO. Just inspires you to shoot properly.

Magnificent images Margus, truly inspiring! I hope you one day publish a book/collection with your work, I would love to study your images also in print.

I read on your blog that you have used a No25 red filter together with the Ilford SFX200 film. Have you also shot the SFX200 with a pure IR filter?

Best Regards
Bjørn

Thanks Bjørn,

Having a major PITA now on self-publishing one of my travel books now. Maybe mid-year if all goes well.

On SFX i've used R25 so far indeed and haven't really felt the need for deeper infrared since I run my favourite film of Efke IR820 AURA parallel anyway with 715nm filter (SFX is to 750nm, so just a very narrow 35 nm band of light will be left). Yet I've always been tempted to test the SFX limits so I reckon a proper 715 nanometer filter test is on order soon with the SFX.

Take care,
Margus

Scanner is definitely the weak point in my setup, negs and slides look massively better than a Canoscan 9000F can resolve.

Still looks very acceptable for web use! I really would love to be able to control my scanning but I don't think whats in my budget at this time would exceed the quality of the lab I'm using.

this camera is still heavy on my "to shoot" list....
^it would actually be relatively "heavy" on that list too!

Kosta, I carry a Plaubel to travel compact, and the Pentax 67 when I need to remind myself I'm a man. I love the lenses on both.
