I have the 45 rather than the 55, but otherwise, that's my setup. I think the 45/105/165 combo is the perfect three-lenser for the 6x7.

I did consider the 45 because I know it's well regarded but 28 eqiv. is my most used FL so I think the 55 would suit me better.

Getting excited...I think I know what I'm getting for Christmas 😀

You get what works for you. I just know I'm a wide-angle guy and the wider the better 😀

I hope you've been good this year, and that Santa doesn't break anything trying to deliver your 6x7 (like his sleigh, or his back!)

Can't wait to get software to run my new-to-me drum scanner (Howtek D4000) putting out scans. I've got demo software now so I can see results and wow...looking forward to scanning my better 6x7 negs again and seeing what they really look like.

This is a photo I took back in 2010, not long after first getting my Pentax 67. I think it was the 3rd roll of film I put through the camera. Yesterday I was looking at the original scan I had done, and the scan wasn't very good so I decided to rescan the negative.

From humble beginnings...

This is most of my current Pentax 67 kit. I started building this kit in 2009, after purchasing a kit on Craigslist that included a 67II, 3 lenses, and a few accessories. After selling the 67II (with unmetered prism), a 165/4 LS, and a helicoid tube, I was left with a broken 67 body with dented unmetered prism (camera was seized and pressure plate was broken off), a 90/2.8 LS with a loose front element, a 45/4 with loose and dented filter ring, a 67mm reverse adapter, and a set of 3 extension tubes. I then sent the body and 2 lenses to Eric Hendrickson, where he was able to get all back to operational condition. While the camera was still with Eric, I found the waist level finder on ebay for a surprisingly decent price, and I bought a Optech Pro strap.
The kit remained that way until 2011 when I added the 200/4. Then in 2012 I found the Pentax strap, bought the SMC 67 90/2.8, then sold the 90/2.8 LS. I also bought a M* 300/4 EDIF in 2012, which I ended up selling in early 2014 IIRC. After selling the 300/4, I bought the Takumar 105/2.4 and its hood, and finally just a few weeks ago I added the Takumar 75/4.5.
Not in this photo are the extension tubes, 67mm reverse adapter, and a Komura 2X TC that I've never actually used.

Does anyone know where the best place to get a Pentax 67 repaired in the U.K. is?
The hinges that hold the back door on have broken....

The entire original kit cost me $400. After selling the 67II, 165/4, and helicoid tube, and then paying for the repairs, I ended up with $300 more than before my original purchase, and basically a free working camera with 2 good lenses.

I actually prefer the 67 to the 67II.

^ Well that's perfectly understandable , so what is about the 67 you prefer over the 67ii that's supposed to have numerous improvements, (and boy do they charge for those ) .
I've spent way too much time lusting after the 67ii , even though I own a Mamiya 7 .
