I'm feeling a bit down. My Pentax 67 is broken.

I have shot a spectacularly beautiful image of my then girlfriend and now wife with this camera, so I like it a lot and would like to have it repaired. (That image I am not allowed to show here, sorry.)

The mirror gets stuck on it's way up. The little recessed button on the front of the camera released the mirror, which then stays up until I again press the shutter button, having now wasted an exposure. The cycle repeats itself.

Does one of you know a good repair shop in Germany that works on Pentax 67 cameras?

Or is this probably a problem I could fix myself?

Thanks for any advice!

Mine had this same problem. It's a easy fix and any competent repair person should be able to do it. The problem is that the magnet that holds the mirror once it flips up does not release the mirror once the shutter closes. My repair person told me it's a simple fix and he did it within a few hours. I was charged under $100 for the repair and he even cleaned and adjusted the shutter speeds. Don't despair.

I do not know of a repair person in Germany.
In UK, I use Harrow Technical near London.
I had my S1a and Spotmatic fixed there last year.
Robin's website also mentions that he repairs 6X7.
