Does anyone have the Pentax Auto-Bellows III with the slide copier? I just purchased one, and it showed up in the mail today. What concerns me is that the slide copier has some play in it. I can essentially wiggle the arm that the copier is attached to (this is the arm that attaches to the main bellows unit) back and forth. Not by much, but I would have expected zero movement.

Here is a video of what I'm talking about:

Before I reach out to the seller, can anyone tell me if this is to be expected?

Thanks!

Mine isn't auto, but when I mount everything to copy a slide or negative and I get everything set, I could press the shutter release and throw the rig onto my bed and there would not be problems. I know long sentence. Get it all tightened down and you shouldn't have any problems unless you bought it on Ebay.

I have the Bellows II and in mine the rod has a flat side (D-shape); yours seem tobe similar and in the video it looks you have the rod upside-down

*Place the flat side towards the locking screw to adjust
*Inside the slide copier "port" there is and adjustment with a tiny allen to make the locking-screw go up or down to secure this more
*If all these fail contact seller
