I normally shoot the Leica minlux as my point and shoot but was getting bummed about the hole in my wallet, so settled on this amazing lil camera as a cheap way to make images daily. I'm not on the same boat with David A H and his phone for a camera. Unlike him I'd rather not be connected to a phone when making my images, it's nice to be alone and photograph in peace versus having the internet or people as a distraction. I'd rather have a decent small compact than a phone any day.

what makes the brownie extra special ? i always see them around in used camera shops.
 
I had a black one that was brassed, and it looked really good! I sold it and have been regretting that, lately, especially now that they've actually increased in market value.
