Pentaxians... Any out there?

I just bought the ME super with pancake 2.8/40 for an irresistibly low price. Replaced the light seals and mirror damper. Nice little camera.
What a great little camera. I seem to recall it getting less than favorable reviews back in the day, although so much of the negativity of that era was due to the transition from fully mechanical to battery-dependent (as if it were such a burden to carry a couple extra S76.)

The ME Super has a great shutter feel/sound and such great viewfinder magnification, while being barely larger than a Barnack.

My ME super is never going to be sold. way too cheap to sell but it's still a great camera. I've got a 50 and 28mmm. enough for me
I have both the Spotmatic and the ME (not the Super) but i find using the ME more. It is more practical.

I think pretty much all of the manual focus Pentax cameras are really nice. My favorite is the SL, I have a chrome one and it's become one of my favorite cameras, usually paired with the 50/1.4 S-M-C Takumar pictured on the preceding page. I like my 55/1.8 S-M-C Takumar just as well, but mine has a dented filter ring so is less useful to me. With the SL, one of those lenses, my 28/3.5 S-M-C Takumar, and my 105/2.8 Super Takumar, I could do most everything I'm interested in doing photographically.

I've come to like my FA35/2 as a walkabout prime on my K3.
I had this lens, and I sold it to help fund the revered FA 31 Ltd. But I miss the FA 35/2, and keep thinking about picking it up again. It's lighter than the 31mm, and still has some pixie dust wide open. It's a great lens.

Today I exposed a roll of the new Kentmere 200 with the ME super and the SMC Pentax-M lenses 2.8/40 and 1.7/50. Although the camera has heavy signs of use, it works perfectly well. The negatives are equally and correctly exposed and very sharp. The camera is easy to operate and a joy to use.
