Havana Cuba in front of the Capitol. Several of these guys try to sell tourists photos made with a box with lens that contains a sheet of direct reversal paper and trays of developer, fixer, and wash. The paper is so old that the photos are heavily solarized. The only English most of them know is "5 dollars" and "fix in Photoshop" when the tourist sees the photo they paid for.
My friend, Juan Carlos, in Cueto, Holguin, Cuba. He is 58 and all of his machine tools are older than he is. Here he is machining spacers so that a used ball bearing assembly for a unknown source can be adapted to replace a worn out one in the axle assembly of a '58 Mercury.
