Farmworkers pulling corn in Zellwood FL. All farmworkers are Mexicans with visas and earn $100-120 per day as they are paid piece rate and not by the hour. While central Florida now only grows a small amount of corn, it is "boutique" corn cultivated to be the absolute best tasting and without regard to production cost. Normal price is 75 cents per ear but worth it.

Glenn had a variety of different jobs including selling BBQ from his truck beside the road on weekends. He was noted for his great rib sandwiches.
This photo was made about 12 years ago. Sadly Glenn developed emotional problems and took his own life earlier this year. A large print of this photo which had been exhibited a number of times now hangs in his family's home.
