November 18 - Arizona RFF Meet

Ok, here we go. Proposing we meet at these coordinates:

Date: November 18, 2006
Time: 10:30 AM
Place: Monti's La Casa Vieja (outside patio) - this to be updated, there new hangoouts there that I have not yet visited
City: Tempe, by the lake

I plan to arrive a bit earlier to catch any morning events. I hope lots of folks show up 'cause otherwise I might be the only rangefinder-wielding guy there..
 
The good thing is that you don't need to wear a flower or anything to be recognized. We'll all just be the Dorks hanging out on the patio with a bunch of camera gear.

Hey! I think that my gear makes me look suave, handsome, and extremely dangerous (in that sexy-Italian way)... :cool:
 
I work EVERY Saturday - and I don't much care for that.
Because that is the Saturday prior to Thanksgiving, I won't have much luck getting the day off. I hope to meet up with everyone in the near future though. Maybe a trip somewhere as a group?

Bill, sorry to hear about your Saturdays. Then again, being self-employed, I work 7 days a week :)

A trip sounds like a great idea.

I think maybe all 3 of us could get matching keychains or somethin'... :)
 
At the moment it would have to be the Werra and a Balda folding 6x6. I might have an FSU camera or two by then. I'm waiting on a Iskra to come back from service with a Zorki 1 tagging along.

So, I won't be the one to show off any high end gear.
 
I've always wanted to see the Werra up-close and have no clue what a folding Balda 6x6 looks like, hope to take a peak. I don't have anything as exotic, maybe will bring my brand-"new" Kiev outfit...
