Perhaps a TLR Forum?

Yeah .......... but there'll be no cussing farting spitting chicken strangling etc etc ... no immoral acts whatsoever! Moderators will be armed!

But more than that... there'll be no commas or capital letters! :D

Sorry, Rover, I don't think there can be rebellious undercurrent if there is moderater support. :)

I would like a TLR forum, personally, as I haven't had a rangefinder for some time and don't know when funds will avail themselves to that end. This is purely a selfish desire without consideration for the rest of community; I'll leave that to others to decide.

Well, we could always use this thread. For example, I just transformed my Rolleiflex 2.8 Schneider Xenotar by having it CLA'd by Ross Yerkes in L.A. I also bought a Hi-Lux Brilliant Matte screen from Bill Maxwell and had Ross install that while he was at it.

That Maxwell screen is so bright it's a shock. Every photographer who looks through it says things like, "My God! That's amazing."

Could turn this into a street shooter, by golly.

Yes it's a good idea. I have a LF Crown Gragpic and it needs a new copal shutter. No one to ask as the other web sites. are mosly out of date.

I have been researhing MF TLR's for a while and an active forum could help me.

I'd been happily ignoring TLRs for something like 33 years (since learning photographic basics on a Yashica 124G in school, along with my lil' 500E Lynx). Now you guys want to drag me back down the rabbit-hole, kicking and screaming, remembering the time (about four years back) when, holding a prime-condition Minolta Autocord in my hands, I almost went for my wallet, but somehow resisted.

Madness, sheer madness.

Of course, there was a nice one on the 'Bay a few months ago...

Old thread! This was started before the TLR forum was put in place.

In case you noticed, there already IS a TLR forum...

I'll gladly discuss my Yashicamat 124G, although I don't use it much.

I´m happy playing in one of the corners of RFF, quite handy if you have some other questions and it simplifies the gas maintenance too ;)

To sell some gear or buy some more, that´s the question :)
