My PETRI 7s has the "circle eye system" the selenium cell encircles the lens...so if you put a hood on the lens you have an almost spot meter (yeah right) I bought it from a pawn shop around 1966 or so....my first 35mm...the lens is 45mm 1.8...I still have the camera .With all this talk maybe I'll put a roll through it...regards,Bill

Hi Bill, I don't use the meter on the camera and wouldn't trust it even if it
reacted to light which it doesn't, with hood removed. Hope to see some of
