I spent the weekend experimenting with the Polaroid SLR670 by MiNT and its new ability to control exposure manually.

Impossible 600 B&W - manual exposure​

I over-exposed the 600 B&W to go for a very delicate, high-key image. Scanning it and then pulling the adjustments around to produce the tones and color tone I wanted revealed all the lovely 'vintage looking' flaws in the transparent overlay and emulsion. There was no other manipulation done, other than adding my usual framing.

You've inspired me to order some of the Impossible 600 BW film. I haven't used my SX-70 in a very long time, but I really used to love the blown-out results I got shooting the old Polaroid 600 BW with it.

Very nice!

Yes, the "right on the border of too exposed" look with Impossible 600 B&W is great. In daylight you'll run into the limits of the SX-70's shutter and meter to accommodate it, however. MiNT Camera makes a lens set for the SX-70 with a holder and a neutral density filter that helps a lot ... It cuts exposure by 2 stops, with that and a little tweaking of the lighten-darken dial you can pretty much get what you want out of it.
