My, say, first attempt at a photographic essay is already up in the RFF. Except for the first shot, which acts as a "cover page", the rest were done with a RF camera: my trusty Canonet.

Let me know your opinion and don't hesitate in picking up the idea: local festivals. I didn't shoot it recently. In fact, I just mined my slide collection to put it together right now.

A word for those interested in doing color night shots: try tungsten film. Sure, it cools the scene and at times it may be too much (see my shots and you'll be able to pick the super-cool one right away), but it also gives a beautiful blue to the sky...

Thanks for reading this far! Now, please, click HERE to check it out. Yours truly! ;) :) :D

Really cool!

The presentation concept is great as well.

Hmm....

Thanks, Richard! I do know this is not a perfect, not even a good photo essay, but after leafing the pages of "Bound for Glory" (the book about photographers in the 30s and 40s using Kodachrome and their 160,000 shots stored in the Library of Congress), I decided to do my bit of documenting for this town. Hence the bravado. :)

Francisco, a nice effort and a nice idea! Exploring a theme through a sequence of shots can have added value as a group. Looking for more!
