All the best,

This is very likely my absolute fav.

I know how much of a chance it could be this shot would work so well. Its brilliant! Thanks for sharing!

Tell me, was it one of those in the moment "heck with it" gonna try situations with a pleasant ending?

Thanks a lot !

I took that shot ages ago in Northern Italy and it was a "let's try this and see later how/if it comes out !" shot ...

Cheers and best wishes ! JM

With a bit of imagination this could have been a scene from the wild west,
but using cameras instead of firearms.........

*********************************************

There I was moseying along near the It'll Do corral when I encountered this hombre.
He noticed the 36-shooter I was packing and it appeared he was lookin for a camera fight. First it started with the trash talk.

Hombre " What a cute little girly camera, looks fur inn, what is it"?

Me " It's a Leica M4"

Hombre " Lie caw, sounds like something a rich lawyer would use.
What lens are ya using"?

Me " Summilux 35mm f/1.4".

Hombre " Sue me lucks, sure sounds like a lawyers lens, but are you
fast with it"?

With that he went for his camera, but the Leica Kid was faster.
"snick"!
;-)

^^ I like your western shoot-out story! :) And I admire that guy's dedication to the craft.

Parque Central - Havana These Cuban photographers tell tourists they are using a 1920's Kodak camera. In reality they are just a wooden box with an old field camera lens attached. No focus as every scene is shot at the same distance. No shutter as each exposure is about 1 second enabled by removing and replacing the light tight lens cap. Inside the box is a frame to hold the direct reversal photo paper and a little tray of developer and another of fixer. Access is by a light tight sleeve. The print is washed in a little bucket of water. Many of these photographers only know two phrases in English "5 CUC" (approximately $5) and "fix in Photoshop" when the tourist complains about their print.

If I got in a position like this to make a shot I'd need help getting back up.
