Most YT (YouTube) photo-oriented productions are too painful for me to watch. Or at least they were during the Covid lockdowns when I spent more time watching them.
Sadly, far too many are badly produced, with a fair few commentators desperately in need of being taught the most basic skills of presentation. They yap-yao-yap endlessly about cameras and what they think of this and that feature. Few if any breaks to show sample images or close-ups of the relevant areas of the camera being reviewed. It's all enough to fry the brain.
I tune out after a few minutes, think "please, please, do something other than opening your mouth, give us a break!" and eventually log off.
Of course it may be that I'm taking it all much too seriously...
So many here think Eric Kim is the pits. Admittedly he has his low points, and far too many of those, but I do find him amusing in a Ken Rockwell way, if not quite as intelligent at researching his data before presenting it on YT. I did go off Eric when his lifestyle took some fairly strange turns. Now I really must go and see how he is faring in the sanity league.
For my complaints, there are a few good ones out there. I've really not watched much YT of late other than now and then an old movies, but of late I'm returning to the network. So it may be that YT has moved on and a few producers are actually now more clues than they were, or new ones with more savvy have popped up. I hope so. our world is crazy enough as it is without YT to make it even more insane.
